Claude Code makes Auto Mode the default for Pro, Max, and Team plans starting August 14, with Enterprise still opting in. Tests with 1,053 paid testers showed Auto Mode generated about 25 percent more pull requests and blocked all 720 prompt injection attempts against Claude's Fable 5, Opus 5, and Sonnet 5 models.
