Dutch Government Backs NixOS Sovereign Desktop

The Dutch government has commissioned three IT providers to build DAWO, a sovereign digital workplace combining a NixOS-based desktop with open source tools for cloud, AI, and collaboration. Eight municipalities are now piloting the project, which aligns with France's La Suite and Germany's openDesk, following US sanctions against the International Criminal Court.
