MIT HardFlow Algorithm Enforces AI Safety Constraints

MIT researchers developed HardFlow, a new algorithm that helps pretrained generative AI models satisfy strict hard constraints without retraining. The method gives models more freedom during generation, enforcing constraints only on the final output. Experiments in robotics, control systems, and computer vision showed it consistently met requirements while producing higher-quality solutions than existing techniques.
