European AI hardware startups raised €1.9bn in funding this year, nearly matching the €2bn raised in all of 2025. London-based Nscale raised a $2bn Series C at a $14.6bn valuation, while Dutch neocloud Nebius closed a $4.3bn round. Three US hyperscalers control 70% of the European cloud market.
