SpaceX rockets crowd out rival satellite firms

SpaceX's Starlink share of Falcon 9 missions rose from 54% in 2020 to roughly 79% this year, leaving at least seven spacecraft companies fully booked until 2028 or 2029. Starlink brought in $11.4bn in 2025, about 60% of SpaceX revenue, versus $4.1bn from launches.
