Adani storms Hindalco-Vedanta duopoly

Gautam Adani entered aluminium through an $11.5 billion joint venture with Abu Dhabi's International Holding Company (IHC). The move challenges the Hindalco-Vedanta duopoly in India's strategic metals sector. Adani previously entered cement in 2022 via Ambuja Cements and ACC, and copper through Kutch Copper.
