Amazon signs multibillion-dollar Corning fiber deal

Amazon signed a multi-year, multibillion-dollar agreement with Corning to supply fiber optic cables for data centers. The deal creates hundreds of construction jobs and expands Corning's technician training program in North Carolina. Amazon has invested over $20 billion in the state, creating 26,000 jobs.
