Saudi Pipeline Attack Halts Oil Exports for Weeks

A crucial Saudi oil pipeline will be mostly out of service for three to five weeks following an attack, two regional officials said Monday. The shutdown forces the kingdom to divert crude away from the Persian Gulf. The pipeline, which has been moving 2.6 to 4 million barrels per day, was struck by drones from Iranian-backed militias in Iraq last Thursday.
