Deezer says over half of new uploads are AI-generated

Deezer announced that over half of all daily music uploads to its platform are now AI-generated. The streaming service is implementing stricter exclusion criteria to combat what it calls AI slop used largely for streaming fraud. In June 2026, over 90,000 new tracks were AI slop songs.
