Ransomware Expert Arrested in FBI Hack

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Friday the arrest of Edward Dubrovsky, a Canadian ransomware expert, in the ShinyHunters probe. Authorities suspect he targeted FBI systems after the agency warned organizations about the group in September. This marks the third suspect arrest in recent weeks, following captures in the Netherlands on September 15 and Jordan on September 28.
