Apple CEO Ternus Cuts Managers, Shifts Launch Strategy

John Ternus, who became Apple CEO on 1 September, is cutting engineering programme managers and middle management to ship products faster, Bloomberg reported. About half a dozen directors have weeks to find new roles or face layoffs later this year. Ternus also wants to loosen Apple's fixed spring and autumn launch schedules and make the company more experimental in AI.
