Excel Copilot to summarize survey text in July 2026

Microsoft will release Excel Copilot text summarization in July 2026 for web Windows and macOS. The feature analyzes open-ended survey text to detect themes and auto-generates categories and tags. Users can ask follow-up questions after the data is categorized. The update targets enterprise users handling large volumes of unstructured survey responses.
