mika raises €6M for SME accounting AI

Berlin-based mika raised €6 million in a seed round led by Smedvig Ventures to expand its AI-native financial operating system for German SMEs. The platform handles bookkeeping, VAT returns, annual accounts and tax filings, with trained accountants reviewing AI output. Its customer base grew from around 400 GmbHs and UGs at the start of the year to more than 750 today.
