Mahle Introduces Range Extender For Electric Trucks

Mahle will introduce a range extender for heavy electric trucks at IAA Transportation in Hannover. The system pairs a 110 kW generator with a combustion engine, extending range to over 800 km. It replaces a third of battery capacity, cutting vehicle weight by 600 kg.
