Apple Cancels M6 Pro and Max, Pushes M7 to 2027

Apple has canceled plans for M6 Pro and M6 Max chips, instead releasing only a base M6 chip later this year. The next Pro and Max chips will debut in the M7 lineup in 2027, designed for on-device AI and GPU-intensive software. An M5 Ultra chip could arrive as soon as this year.
