Japan Airlines Breach Exposes 92000 Passengers

Japan Airlines announced a data breach at Amadeus's Passenger Service System exposing data for about 92,000 customers. The unauthorized access occurred between August 10, 2023, and September 23, 2026, after Amadeus notified the airline on October 23, 2026. While credit card numbers were safe, attackers accessed reservation codes, names, flight dates, and passport numbers for the affected travelers.
