Apple Touts Faster Core Software Features Across Devices

Apple at WWDC 2026 announced responsiveness improvements across its software ecosystem. iPhone and iPad app launching is up to 30 percent faster. New photos appear in iCloud Photos up to 70 percent faster. AirDrop file sharing is up to 80 percent faster, and Files app transfers are up to 50 percent faster.
