MIT Researchers Demonstrate Weight-Space Programming

MIT researchers show GPT-6 Astra can modify other AI model weights directly. In tests, it improved Qwen3.5-0.8B math accuracy from 7.9 to 48.1 percent by changing 0.016 percent of weights. The team notes limits exist for adding fundamental skills. Experiment logs are available on GitHub.
