Bambu Lab Launches R1 Laser Cutter

Bambu Lab launched the R1, a 55W CO2 laser cutter and engraver, its first product beyond 3D printing. It cuts 18mm black walnut plywood and 20mm acrylic, with a conveyor handling materials up to 3 meters. Preorders open Sept. 22, shipments in October, starting at $2,499 in the US. It competes with xTool, WeCreat and Glowforge.
