Gartner Predicts 80% Neoclouds Fail by 2030

On October 14, 2026, Gartner predicted that cost pressure will force more than 80% of neocloud providers to stop operating independently by 2030. The firm estimated that more than $3.5 trillion of AI infrastructure spending could be exposed to impairment by the end of 2030 if providers keep spending at their current pace.
