USDOT redirects $1.73B from bike lanes

The U.S. Department of Transportation redirected $1.73 billion in BUILD grants away from bicycle and pedestrian projects. About 77 percent of the funding, roughly $1.3 billion, will support road and bridge projects. No funding from this round will be used for bicycle lane projects.
