PICO appoints new head, plans MR device

ByteDance's PICO XR business appointed Li Xiaokai as its new head after founder Zhou Hongyi stepped down. PICO plans to launch a mixed-reality device codenamed Project Swan this year, using a MicroOLED display and a self-developed MR chip with 12ms latency. PICO OS 6 expands to spatial computing with Android app support.
