Adform's tracking script was compromised to steal cryptocurrency, replacing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TRON wallet addresses on visitors' clipboards with attacker-controlled ones. Researcher Kevin Beaumont discovered the malicious code, which Adform removed after detecting the threat on July 27.
