iFixit gave Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 a 4 out of 10 repairability score after its teardown found the hinge lacks protection against particles under 1 millimeter. The hinge made crunching noises and stopped opening normally during testing. Google's Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Honor's Magic V6 have dust-resistant IP6X ratings.
