Destro emerged from stealth Tuesday with an $8 million seed round led by Base10 Partners and Bonfire Ventures. The startup sells an AI orchestration layer that directs robots and human warehouse workers together, rather than building robot bodies. After a three-robot pilot at a Yusen Logistics facility in the Pacific northwest, Destro is scaling to 26 robots and starting a 17-robot Southern California pilot.
