A robot sprinter broke the 100-meter record at China's World Humanoid Robot Games, finishing in 8.64 seconds. The Tiangong Ultra, by Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, set three records. Several robots crashed and sparked, requiring fire extinguishers.
