Taiko urges users to withdraw as bridge exploit drains $1.7M

Taiko, an Ethereum layer-2 blockchain, urged users to withdraw assets after a bridge exploit stole $1.7 million. A flaw in the chain state verification mechanism allowed forged proofs and unauthorized withdrawals from the ERC20 Vault. The attacker moved 1.99 million TAIKO tokens to MEXC.
