Greece tested AI traffic cameras around Athens that generated roughly 13,000 citations in April and May. Human reviewers validated only 400 of the 5,500 they examined. The software mistook dark objects for phones, shadows for passengers, and issued seatbelt fines for empty seats and dark shirts.
