Online retailers including Amazon, GAME, and Smyths state that physical PS5 copies of Grand Theft Auto 6 contain a region-locked voucher code that can only be redeemed with a PlayStation account registered to the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. This geo-blocking may violate EU law, which prohibits such restrictions across European Economic Area borders.
