Zoom warns of critical account takeover vulnerability

Zoom disclosed a critical vulnerability in its Windows desktop client and Meeting SDK tracked as CVE-2026-53412 with a severity score of 9.8. The improper input validation flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to hijack accounts via network access. Zoom recommends applying the latest updates to affected versions including Zoom Workplace before 7.0.0.
