PwC: Workers Fear Economic Volatility Over AI

PwC's 2026 Workforce Hopes and Fears survey of nearly 50,000 employees, including 1,004 in Ireland, found 57pc globally and 45pc in Ireland see economic volatility as a greater job threat than AI, which 44pc globally and 41pc in Ireland fear. Only 34pc globally and 26pc in Ireland have money left at month end, down 13pc and 8pc.
