Last-minute MiCA approvals mark end of EU transition period

A final wave of MiCA licenses was issued as the 18-month transitional period ended Wednesday. Italy authorized four companies, France added three, and Malta's FalconX received a license. The ESMA interim register now lists 244 authorized crypto asset service providers across the EU and EEA.
