Windows 11 gets big Start menu update with modular, resizable design in new build - Neowin

Microsoft ships modular Start menu update in Windows 11 build 26300.8553. Users can toggle off recommendations while keeping jump lists active. The Start menu now supports resizing and personalization. The update builds on prior changes announced in the Making Taskbar and Start more personal Insider blog. Microsoft released build 26220.8544 in the Beta Channel with spinners and other enhancements. The Experimental Channel update enables granular control over Start menu components.
