Amazon has built its 1,000th broadband satellite, with service expected in weeks. The company increased production from 27 satellites in six months to 27 a week. While 396 satellites remain in orbit, the FCC may restore spectrum priority by October 2027 if Amazon proves it has built the necessary hardware and secured launch manifests.
