Tesla plans to unveil the Roadster as soon as this month with a remote-controlled, unoccupied flying demo using SpaceX cold-gas thrusters. Spectators will stay hundreds of yards back due to loud noise. Tesla also explored abandoning the 2017 design for a new aesthetic.
