IBM quantum computer solves intractable problem in 15 minutes

IBM and University of Chicago researchers encoded 70 logical qubits to solve a classically intractable problem in about 15 minutes. The experiment used a new error correction strategy, achieving logical error rates 10 times lower than physical rates.
