UK body urges fix for speed limit assist failures

The Road Safety Trust and Thatcham Research found intelligent speed assist systems in cars like the MG ZS fail real-world tests despite passing EU regulation. Thatcham's new testing method judges accuracy at each speed limit change, not over distance. The worst vehicle achieved 91.3% accuracy, barely above the EU's 90% pass threshold.
