Australia plans to sue Meta, TikTok, Snap, and Google's YouTube over its social media ban for under-16s. Communications Minister Anika Wells stated the eSafety Commissioner, Julie Inman Grant, is gathering evidence for Federal Court action. The ban has been in force since December 2025, with investigations opening in March.
