Xiaomi launched the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in China, the first phones with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips. The Pro starts at CNY 5,999 ($895) and the Pro Max at CNY 6,999 ($1,045). Both add 7,000mAh and 8,500mAh batteries, privacy displays, and AI rear-screen apps. A global launch follows later this year.
