NASA launched the Roman Space Telescope from Florida on Sunday. The telescope carries a 2.4-meter primary mirror, the same size as Hubble's, and a 300-megapixel Wide Field Instrument with 18 detectors, giving it a field of view at least 100 times larger than Hubble's.
