Nvidia's RTX 5000 Super GPUs are reportedly on hold due to the high cost of 3GB GDDR7 memory modules, which cost roughly three times more than 2GB modules. One board partner already has the chips but was told by Nvidia to pause. The RTX 5080 Super and RTX 5070 Ti Super are expected to feature 24GB of VRAM, while the RTX 5070 Super would have 18GB.
