Anew Labs Raises $290M From ByteDance Spin-Off

Shanghai-based Anew Labs completed a $290 million inaugural external financing at a $1.5 billion valuation. The round was led by HSG, IDG Capital, and Hillhouse Investment, following ByteDance's decision to spin out its AI drug-discovery unit.
