Google fixes Pixel Watch Express Pay bug

Google resolved a bug that broke Express Pay on Pixel Watch, causing tap-to-pay to fail unless the watch was unlocked. The feature, which lets users pay without opening Google Wallet, stopped working for some users earlier this month. Google confirmed the fix is live as of July 23, 2026.
