DoorDash launches in-house drone unit, "cleared for takeoff"

DoorDash received FAA Part 135 air carrier certification and launched DoorDash Air, an in-house drone delivery program. Drones fulfilled deliveries in an average of 25 minutes last year. Pilot locations saw order volume grow around 30 percent.
