Docker announced the Sandbox Kit Spec at WeAreDevelopers, an Apache 2.0 open source format that packages an AI agent, its tools, and its permission requests as a standard OCI image. Docker is donating the spec to the CNCF for neutral governance, with AWS, Datadog, Snyk and others already building Kits.
