ALMA detects wind from Milky Way's central black hole

Astronomers detect wind emanating from Sagittarius A* using five years of ALMA data. Evidence shows a southern and northern lobe of gas movement. The wind consists of small gas wisps heated into radiation that pushes surrounding gas. The finding supports long-standing theory of black hole wind in quiet supermassive black holes.
