AI companies now account for 46% of the square footage in active US tech office leasing pipelines, according to real-estate platform VTS. San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and New York hold 63% of all active AI square footage. San Francisco's SoMa and Mission Bay corridor alone contains a quarter of national AI office demand.
