The Mach Initiative successfully completed the maiden flight of the Kingchaser, a 3D-printed remote-controlled aircraft with a jet turbine. The team aims to beat the current Guinness World Record held by German pilot Neils Herbrich for nine years. The 20 lb aircraft targets a top speed of Mach 0.8, utilizing a Jetcat P60 engine and a carbon fiber skeleton.
