EU announces new rules on AI transparency

The European Union's AI transparency rules took effect August 2nd. Article 50 of the AI Act requires labeling AI-generated content and informing users when interacting with AI chatbots. Fines reach €15 million or three percent of global annual revenue for non-compliance.
