Revolut launches the Revolut Register, a point-of-sale system with facial recognition and tablet support, initially in the UK. The hardware costs around £700 before tax. Transaction fees are 0.8% plus £0.02 for UK cards and 2.6% plus £0.02 for international cards, excluding UnionPay and JCB.
